Samsung Galaxy A8s is going to have Infinity-O display

This year was pretty busy for Samsung but it hasn’t slow down it even a little bit. Samsung seem to be all set to rock in next year as well. We already know about much hyped and anticipated foldable smart phone Samsung Galaxy F and Galaxy S10. Now there are rumors about another Samsung smartphone to be in the tech horizon next year. It is quite common these days that some sources leak information about design, hardware and software specs that create quite a stir in the market even before the launch of the device. This time, the rumors are about Samsung’s mid-range smartphone Galaxy A8s.

We don’t know much about the release date of Galaxy A8s but few images are already surfing the internet. The leaked renders have been uploaded by “AllAboutSamsung” and as leak images suggest, the device is going to have an Infinity-O display which are expected to be unveil with the release of its flagship smartphone Galaxy S10. The Infinity-O display is going to use a punch hole to accommodate the front-facing camera lens. Samsung has announced the Galaxy A8s during the launch of Galaxy A9s and A6s. Rumors suggest that this device may be available in the market before mid 2019.

The leaked renders suggest full-screen display with minimal bezels around the display to give it an infinity look and feel. The punch hole is rumored to be on the top left corner of the display. It is going to feature flat display unlike the curved display which Galaxy S and Note series have. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB of RAM. It will have triple camera and fingerprint reader on the back side. Some people may have an issue with the placement of punch hole being it on side rather than in the usual center position. Where would you like to have a camera lens being placed? In the center or on the side of the screen. Do share your views in comment section.
