Smartphone manufacturing companies seem to pay lots of attention on camera these days. Chinese smartphone companies started the trend of having multi-lens camera system for front and rear side. Now everyone seems to follow this trend and every day we heard about better and improved camera app. Galaxy S10 is Samsung’s next year flag ship smart phone expected to be unveiled in first quarter of 2019 is expected to have incredible camera features.
Recent update of Android operating system to Pie includes and option for ultra wide lens correction within the camera app settings. Rumors suggest that Galaxy S10 will have ultra wide lens within multi-lens camera system both on the front and rear of the device. Reports suggest that Galaxy S10 is going to have hole-punch instead of notch to incorporate the selfie-camera. The option within the camera setting has text “ In ultra wide lens, you save the picture by correcting the distortion of the background or by correcting the distortion of the person”. Ultra wide lens can capture a much wider and less distorted image.
PPDCW – a photography publication has described this feature as “incredible”. It describe it as an extra edge for Samsung over its competition in camera technology. Samsung Galaxy S10 won’t be the first smartphone to use ultra wide camera lens. Huawei Mate Pro 20 also offer similar camera technology. Galaxy S10 would be unveiled on March 08, 2019. The phone will be available in 3 size variants: A 5.8 inch Galaxy S10 lite, a 6.1 inch Galaxy S10 and 6.4 inch Galaxy S10+. These will have different number of front and camera lenses along with the variant amount of storage which will be another factor in its final price. The Galaxy S10 is expected to be a pricey model of flagship smartphone due to its different number of lenses and photography options.
