Samsung Galaxy A8s has been unveiled by the company It is one of its kind. It is the first smart phone to get an Infinity-O display. Samsung talked about its infinity design in developer conference recently but everyone was confuse how it would look like in real. Now when it’s here, everyone seem to like the new design. A Galaxy A8s hands-on report from china give us detailed report on its specification but still we don’t have any release date for the device global launch. The infinity display is an edge-to-edge display and for front camera it punches out a hole in the upper corner side of the phone. This has stretches out the screen to body ratio to maximum limits. The smartphone is also the first ever phone to have an LCD display.
The Galaxy A8s has a 6.4 inch display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The highest resolution you get with this phone is 2340 x 1080 pixels. The infinity-O display enabled the designers to stretch the display panel even further. The Galaxy A8s has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.56 percent. The front camera is 24 MP f/2.0. Samsung also redesigned the ear-piece to remove the occupied space at the top of the phone. Galaxy A8s doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead it has a dedicated button for the Bixby – the smart assistant. It has triple camera system at the back. Surprisingly, Samsung has earlier mocked Apple for killing its headphone jack in the iPhone and now seems to have followed the same approach.
Additional specs include the qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device has large battery – 3400mAh which is enough for long day use. One more thing that makes Galaxy A8s different than other mid-range mobile phone is its camera. Usually you have to go to your camera app to launch it or if you want to use quick launch, you do it via a button at the side corner of the mobile phone. But, with Galaxy A8s, you tap on the right side of the lock screen on the smartphone and swipe down to launch the camera without having to unlock it. Yes, you read it right. Just swipe it down on your locked screen and camera app will launch. An animated ring also illuminates the sensor when you switch between different camera modes.
