Internet was bombard with the leak images of Samsung Galaxy S10 on daily basis but final pics released this week, just before the reveal of Galaxy Note 9 has been finalized. The difference in smartphone release this year and previous is break in tradition. In the past half-decade, we have been able to predict the successive Samsung smartphone based on its predecessor but things are bit different now. Technology is changing in so many dimensions and predicting new features based on predecessor seems almost impossible now a days.
When Samsung released its new smart phones in Galaxy S or Galaxy Note flagship series, we could take a stab at what it would roll out for new model. When the Galaxy S had a certain set of cameras, we could pretty much line up the cameras for Galaxy Note. Either they were nearly the same or straight up the same. The slight upgrade between the devices were replicated over the years. The Galaxy Note would give us a hit for what the Galaxy S would bring for us.
In 2018, Samsung made few 3rd-party manufacturer moves. Their biggest rival, Apple launched 10th anniversary phone, the iPhone X, in three variations. Samsung seem to follow this trend for Galaxy S10. Before this, Samsung had tradition of releasing two variations for its flagship smart phones. The least of these Galaxy S10 is rumored to have a side mounted fingerprint scanner. We have seen similar scanner in the Motorola’s Moto X3 Play and it got some pretty good reviews from users. These days, fingerprint sensors are extremely accurate and expeditious.
As per reported by South Korean reliable leak sources, two versions of Samsung Galaxy S10 would be appearing in February 2019. One version was rumored to have a slightly larger display than the other. Its not the clear yet whether the largest of these will have the most number of camera lens or the middle size one will those. Rumors suggest that the unit with largest display would be the most expensive of the variations of Galaxy S10 and would like to have 2x cameras on front and 3x cameras on rear side. front there’s a good chance Samsung will bring the array of cameras and sensors present in the Galaxy Note 9, but even BETTER than that, with a new set of cameras.
