After Samsung has release Galaxy Note 9, everyone is looking forward to next flagship smart phone Galaxy S10. Samsung fans’ expectations have raised after Galaxy Note 9 and they are expecting some major updates for S10 as this would releasing at 10th anniversary of S series. Due to the market trend, we can assume that next year flagship smartphone are investing heavily on camera system.
According to ETNews, Samsung will be using three lens camera for Galaxy S10 to compete and stay in the market. Primary camera will be of 12MB, second lens would have 13MB telephoto capability, and a wide angle 16MB would be used as third lens. Samsung won’t be the first company to launch three cameras in a phone, Huawei has already released P20 Pro which offers triple camera lens with Hybrid zoom. This type of zoom don’t beat optical zoom but it is definitely better than digital zoom in most situations. Huawei’s P20 Pro has 40MP RGB camera, a 20MP monochrome snapper and an 8MP telephoto shooter.
So far, Samsung has been ruling in the smart phone photography and it seems it like to continue its legacy with Galaxy S10. Huawei’s P20 Pro can focus on one area only, whereas Samsung is providing wide angle lens which will allow a better quality result at all zoom levels rather than being focus on a single area. Samsung S10 Plus is going to be even better. Samsung S10 seem ready to be the ‘handset of the year’ in 2019 when comes to photography.
Samsung Galaxy S10 is coming in three variants. The mini variant won’t have these significant photography updates but that doesn’t mean Samsung would compromise on quality in any way. Samsung has already updated S9 and Note 9 with the high end dual lens camera that made huge impact on its sales.
