Samsung Electronics has decided to bring some of its best premium features to mid-range smartphone to attract consumers who are moving towards other brands. In the last year, Samsung had to face a disappointing sales record due to increasing competition due to Chinese companies like Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo etc. To compete in the budget friendly mobile sector, Samsung has revamped its Galaxy A series, which has brought some of the best high-end features to mid-range smartphones. While the Samsung Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 are already available in the selected markets including India, Samsung has reportedly been working on more devices to add in this A series.
Recently, Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy A70 which comes with a large infinity of 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. With minimal bezels and a 20:9 aspect ratio, the Galaxy A70 deliver an amazing visual treat for its users. Galaxy A70 doesn’t stop there, as it has 32MP f/2.0 selfie camera and a d32MP f/1.7 primary rear lens. There are three lenses at the rear side. One lens has a 5MP depth sensor and a 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle shooter. It also has fingerprint sensor.
For its performance, the Galaxy A70 relies on an octa-core chipset presumably from the Exynos family. The phone comes with two options between 6GB and 8GB of RAM. It features 128GB of onboard storage which can be expanded by up to 512GB using the dedicated microSD slot. Galaxy A70 is powered by a massive 4,500mAh battery which also supports super-fast charging at 25W. According to the official sources, the battery is sufficed for whole day usage. For the smartphone’s back, Samsung is using its own material known as 3D Glasstic which seems to be plastic with the appearance of reflective glass, just like last year Galaxy A9. The Galaxy A70 is available in four colors – coral, black, blue and white with subtle gradients.
