The new Samsung Galaxy Tab has an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Last month Samsung launched Galaxy Tab S5e which was more entertainment-focused whereas the Galaxy Tab 8.0 aim students and researchers. The tablet is powered by Exynos 7904 chipset and paired with 3GB of RAM. Storage comes into 32GB but it can be extended up to 512GB using microSD card.
The Galaxy Tab A features an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. Camera also supports AR emoji and stickers, live bokeh, live blur, and live beauty modes. The rear camera also supports Full HD video recording. The design is attractive too as it is only 8.9mm thick and weigh only 235g. It is lightweight and quite portable device for an 8-inch tablet. The battery isn’t the biggest one as it is measures only at 4,200mah – which is actually only slightly bigger than the Galaxy S10+. With a single charge it can go up to 11 hours of usage. It is charged via USB-C port and includes the headphone port.
Samsung hasn’t revealed the version of OS but it is safe to say that the tab will come running Android Pie with One UI. Samsung has’t reveled the price tag of the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 but we know that it will be available in the UK, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam to begin with.
