Samsung brings one UI to its wearable devices

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Active has successfully generated a positive vibe among tech enthusiasts. Due to its sleek design and getting the latest UI out of the box has definitely some advantages it has over its predecessor. Samsung user interface went under two major changes in less than five years. It started as TouchWiz which later on changed to Samsung Experience and now it has evolved into One UI. The Korean company is also bringing the updates to older devices which means that Galaxy Watch, Gear S3, and Gear sports will be able to use the latest UI – One UI. The new interface not only improves the watch fact, bring Samsung health but also improves battery life.

The software update is rolling out for multiple countries and it is most conspicuous addition is the One UI. The new interface features new graphics and animation. It focuses on facilitating a user’s immediate access to key information. Cleaner and less clutter interface now appear to represent the immediate future of Samsung’ smartwatch interfaces. One UI is more user-centric interface such as it features the ability to turn the screen on with a single tap. It has some deep functionality improvements as well such as outdoor swim tracking for the Galaxy Watch, more detailed sleep tracking, and summary of daily health activities. Galaxy watch and Gear users will also be able to download additional watch faces as well.

Due to better memory management and tighter control of screen brightness, some users have reported for better life improvements. If you own a Galaxy watch and tired of fast draining battery than you are going to like this update. Look for the free update in Samsung’s Galaxy wearable app under the Home and hit check for update. According to your country and cellular carrier, you may not get the update availability immediately.
