Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone S10 and S10 Plus continue the tradition of being awesome and did well in the market. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus didn’t bring any exciting feature for its users and were almost similar to its predecessor. This doesn’t mean that it wasn’t good. It is just that Samsung has brought up the technology bar too high which makes people expect something new every time Samsung announced to release a smartphone. And with some news coming to highlight, Samsung is ready to repeat the same mistake with the Galaxy S11.
Recently, Ice Universe, the popular industry leaker has tweeted about the next S11’s display and has asked its followers to demand a 90Hz display in S11 from Samsung. It has already faced criticism from the users and critics for using the 60Hz in the Note 10 smartphone when other smartphone manufacturers have moved to 90 or even 120 Hz which gives a far superior display experience. Samsung seems to not to care too much about how its users feel about the display. In the new tweet, Ice Universe said that almost every brand has moved to the upper tier of a display showing at 90/120Hz refresh rate screen.
What makes it even more shocking that Samsung already makes 90Hz display of its own, Instead of selling them in its own flagship devices, it sells them off to the other companies? The much loved 90Hz display in the OnePlus 7 Pro is developed by Samsung. The tech giant seems to be more interested in selling the next-generation technologies to other brands rather using these. For example, it sold its 64Mp and 108MP camera sensors to Xiaomi, while selling its customers a 12MP sensor that is three years old from the Galaxy S7. It further sold its UFS 3.0 storage and 90Hz display panel to the OnePlus 7 Pro and keep using the old 60Hz for the latest premium smartphones.
