Samsung has added a new smartphone recently to its Galaxy A-series with the launch of Galaxy A70s in India. The handset has been launched in India first and so far hasn’t released anywhere else in the world. It is the first Samsung device to offer a 64MP as a primary camera for photography.
The Galaxy A70 comes in two storage variants. The base model offers 6GB RAM and costs around Rs 28,999, while the second option that users get is 8GB RAM and has a price tag of Rs 30,999. Both variants offer the same 128GB internal storage capacity. Samsung has announced that the smartphone will be available across offline channels, Samsung e-Shop and leading online portals. Samsung has partnered with Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea for launch offers. For Jio users, there is a double data offer for prepaid recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299 (maximum 12 recharges). For Airtel users, there is a double data offer on recharges worth Rs 249 and Rs 349 (maximum: 10 recharges). As for Vodafone-Idea, users are eligible to get a Cashback of Rs 75 on recharge of Rs 255 through MyVoda App and MyIdea App (maximum: 50 recharges).
You can buy the Samsung Galaxy A70s in three available colors– Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Black — the Galaxy A70s offers a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display of 1080×2400 pixels resolution with 20:9 aspect ratio. For security, the device also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. There is an Infinity-U shaped notch on the top. The phone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, the handset has a microSD card support of up to 512GB.
The device has Samsung One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie operating system, the device comes with AI-powered Game Booster. Samsung claims that it improves frame rate, gaming ability of the phone. It also comes with Samsung Pay support as a payment option. The Galaxy A70s has a large 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. One of the main highlights is its triple rear camera setup with 64MP primary sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 123-degree viewing angle and a 5MP Live Focus lens for taking a selfie.
