Samsung is bringing Android 10 to Galaxy Note 10 series

Earlier this month, Samsung announced an updated version of One UI that is based on Android 10 for the Galaxy S10 series. The beta program introduced all Android 10 exclusive features to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10e. The new UI has brought some changes to further minimize the design. For example, the new UI has a smaller caller notification and volume area so they won’t look intrusive. The latest announcement is about the Note 10 series which is getting the update.

The beta program will soon make its way to the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, Galaxy Note 10 5G and the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G. However, the company hasn’t received the exact timeline for the same. The update will be available for all Galaxy Note 10 users, including both carriers locked and unlocked devices. Users will be able to participate in the beta from within the Samsung Members app when it goes live.

One of the main changes for the Galaxy S10 series extends to the dark mode to the home screen. The dark mode is getting into trend due to its low impact on eyes and users don’t feel eye fatigue while using their devices at night. This new dark mode can adjust the brightness of images, texts, and colors on the display. The dark mode is also light on the battery consumption, which is great. There will be minor changes to the smart lock screen, which automatically adjusts the color of the text on the lock screen. On top of that, there are some new tools for digital wellness, including the focus mode. You can control new features to help you manage your digital wellbeing from the device care menu. It also gives control over what’s on your device.
