According to the leaks, there will be another phone called the Galaxy A71 with 5G network support, which may launch in China soon. While the company is already planning to launch the W20 5G phone in the premium category, the Galaxy A71 will belong to the budget category that could help Samsung to increase the sales and compete with the Chinese companies.
It seems that Samsung is trying to grab China’s 5G market. The company is also planning to launch a variant of the Galaxy fold for the Chinese market with 5G in a few weeks. The report claims that a Galaxy device with model number SM-A7160 and 128GB of storage is in the works. As the Galaxy A71 will be a mid-range smartphone, it seems highly likely that the company will be using the Exynos 980 chip the phone with integrated support for the 5G network. Samsung announced the Exynos 980 as the first mobile processor from the company with 5G support. Based on the design, the chip is expected to power a mid-range smartphone with an aim to make 5G more accessible to a wider audience. Galaxy A71 might be the first budget phone from Samsung next year. If you are already familiar with its predecessor chipset, you will see a speed upgrade with this model. As per the earlier rumors, Samsung Galaxy A71 is expected to house a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design and an in-display fingerprint reader.
