Earlier this month at CES 2020, the tech giant Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 Lie and Galaxy Note 10 Lite. Both devices will go on sale in the coming weeks. The Galaxy S10 Lite is an interesting device as it offers some of the most features as the Galaxy S10 series at a more affordable price point. This is much more similar to Galaxy Note 10 lite than their non-lite counterparts. The Galaxy S10 lite has 6.7-inch full HD+ super AMOLED displays with center hole punch cameras. The hole punch is 32MP camera, for a selfie but the rear side has three cameras.
Despite being called the Lite version, the phone has packed some serious robust hardware. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. It has 128GB internal storage and 6GB/8GB RAM. The battery is non-removable Li-Po 4,500mAh which comes with fast charging. Galaxy S10 Lite has a pro camera, while the Galaxy Note 10 offers a Note experience at a lower price.
The phone has a super steady OIS for taking more stabilize videos. Super Steady OIS is something we specifically tried out at the Samsung booth. While OIS on most devices can only move left, right, up, and down, Super Steady OIS can move forward and backward as well. This helps if you have shaky hands. In our brief testing, it seemed to work better in portrait mode than landscape mode, but we’ll have to try it out more.
The phone has Android 10 with One UI 2.0 out of the box. The device has three cameras at the rear side. The primary camera is 48MP f/2.0, the other is 12MP with f/2.2, and the third is 5MP with f/2.4. The third camera is the macro camera. For security, it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner. You can buy the phone in prism black, prism white, and prism blue colors. The device may not have all the high-end features and casing materials as its non-lite counterpart, but they have seriously well enough at such price.
