CES 2020

CES 2020 is here and this is what you can expect to see

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show technically opens on Tuesday. CES is a great event to attend for tech enthusiasts and what happened here is very extraordinary. Many people would argue that the event is losing its importance with almost similar products being launched every year. CES has earned a reputation for being the powerhouse, and there are things on the list that excite people.

CES 2020 starts January 7, but for press and media previews, it has already started. Before the first day of the show, For some reasons, Samsung didn’t wait for its first look event that traditionally holds on the Sunday and announced its bezel-less Samsun 8K QLED TV on Saturday, and rushed off invites to its February unpacked event too which is officially the launch day for the Galaxy S11.

This year we are expecting a lot from the show – from 5G phones to transparent ultra-HD TVs to personal drones that you can fly around, but there is also something completely unexpected – a robot dog. AMD is coming up with a line of high-end GPUs this year. Last year AMD showed off its first-ever 7-nanometer GPU, the Radeon VII, at CES 2019, so expect big announcements from the company. LG has already revealed some of its TV and display lineups to the press for review. Intel announced six more 9th-generation processors, ranging from Core i3 to Core i9, making it one of the biggest events for the company so far. Sony didn’t participate much last year when it comes to new devices. But this year, Sony has come up with a new 360 Reality Audio format, Master series TV, and A-series lineups with new 2.1 soundbars with Dolby Atoms.
