As we all know that due to the pandemic, smartphone companies were unveiling their mobile phones and other devices in an online or virtual event. But, as the spread seems to slow down, Samsung decided to hold a big event to celebrate the launch of its latest flagship smartphone. The company has already confirmed that it will be unveiling the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 at the event, but what other devices are launched at the event? Let’s find out.
While we are pretty sure that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will be among the devices being launched on 5 August, we still have to find out what other devices the company is planning to reveal at the same event. Alongside Note 20 Plus and Note 20 plus ultra, we might see some non-Note products. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is heavily rumored and we might see a glimpse of the device on August 5.
Based on these it’s likely that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will have a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a top-end Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset (depending on your region), 8GB of RAM, a 4,300mAh battery, and a triple-lens camera, with a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide one, and a 64MP telephoto one (capable of 3x optical zoom). The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra meanwhile (which is looking more likely to launch than the Note 20 Plus) is rumored to have the same chipset and refresh rate, but a bigger 6.9-inch QHD+ screen, 12GB of RAM, a 4,500mAh battery, and a triple-lens camera with a 108MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide one, and a 12MP periscope one (capable of 5x optical zoom).
Another device being rumored is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. The wearable device might come in two variants, have a physical rotating bezel, and include 8GB internal storage. The watch is going to be waterproof just like its predecessor. Samsung might also unveil a tablet at its unpacked event, called Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. The device might have a 12.4-inch display screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a Snapdragon 865 processor, a dual-lens rear camera with 13MP and 5MP, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 10,090mAh battery. The unpacked event is only a few days far, and we still have to see what it holds for Samsung fans.
