Samsung Galaxy Fold has game optimization feature for hundreds of apps

Samsung was the first company to use the display screen technology that can heal itself – the foldable device was the direct influence of the technology. The company had its plan to launch the first-ever foldable device in February which met a PR disaster and phone couldn’t survive the human usage for more than two days. This result in delaying the smartphone. And so far, we haven’t heard of any confirm news of its launch. This may seem discouraging but Samsung didn’t stop working on its first foldable.

Samsung went one step ahead and collaborated with Google and major partner apps like Amazon Prime video, Twitter, Spotify, Facebook, and Microsoft to fully optimize the Galaxy Fold. Samsung set up its lap in Korea, the USA, and China to help developers testing the apps for the Galaxy fold. It also released a remote test lab which allowed developers to test their apps with the help of Galaxy Fold emulator on their PC.

Sagar Kamdar, director of product management for Android at Google, wrote in a blog post: Together with ecosystem partners like Samsung, we have the opportunity to deliver an entirely new user experience that could transform the way we use our smartphones. We enjoyed working closely with the Samsung team and the Android developer community to ensure the users of the Galaxy Fold have the best experiences with their favorite apps and services. Samsung is expected to launch the foldable phone on September 27. While the price hasn’t been confirmed yet, we expect it to be just under $2000.
