You might not into the foldable phones yet but the Galaxy Z flip has design to kill and impress. The previous foldable smartphone by Samsung didn’t debut well and then there were some durability concerns. Even the company itself wasn’t sure about how people would react for the device. But now when the foldable has done okay, Samsung decided to come up with a vertical foldable device. Although the design is similar to the Moto Razr still there are people who just want to buy Samsung devices.
The Galaxy Z flip seems to be liked by the users and sales exceeded Samsung’s expectations, at least some parts of the world. Now, the Galaxy Z flip is coming to India on February 26. Like the rest of the world, the phone has only one mode of the Z flip with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is priced at INR 1,09,99, which roughly translate into $1525 that makes it more expensive in India than in the US. Maybe this is because of the taxes. Samsung will start the pre-install today, and these will start to ship after 5 days.
The phone was unveiled in an unpacked event earlier this month. The phone features a 6.7-inch infinity flex AMOLED display, a small 1.1-inch display on the cover. The display on the front panel is small but good enough to display notifications, caller ID, or battery percentage, etc. The device has a 10-megapixel selfie camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera. The cameras collectively offer optical image stabilization, HDR10+ recording, and 8x digital zoom. The device has Android 10 with One UI 2 out of the box. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855+ and Adreno 640 GPU. The Galaxy Z flip is available in mirror purple, mirror gold, mirror black, and brown colors that features a unique striped design.
