samsung nov update

Samsung November security patch is here. Is your phone on the list?

November is almost gone, and it means we are getting a new Android security patch for our Samsung smartphone. The new security patch has been highlighted by Google and Samsung. This patch has addressed nice critical security vulnerabilities that affect the Android OS, along with fixes for other 39 Samsung Vulnerabilities and exposures items, which are vulnerabilities that only affect Samsung’s software. The November security update has already been released for some Galaxy devices and will be released for more devices in the upcoming weeks.

The latest security patch is for the Galaxy A8 (2018), Galaxy A8+ (2018), Galaxy J6+, Galaxy J8, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A20e with the security fixes onboard. The update patch is rolling out in different areas for each device and may not be made available in some places a device is sold in, which is standard fare for security updates. The Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S9 were singled out in the list of Android devices affected by the bug, and while Google fixed the vulnerability in the October patch for Pixel devices, Samsung’s version of the October patch did not include such a fix. The Korean giant has changed that with the November security patch.

As noted earlier, the November security update has already been released for some Galaxy devices, such as the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Tab S4, and Galaxy A50. Samsung seems to work fast with updates and taking the security of its users far serious it used to take in the past and we can assume that the November update will reach more galaxy devices.
